Basically a fancied-up margarita shot for special occasions or just because you enjoy being extra like I do. I’m thinking girl’s night, Cinco de Mayo, or just because it’s Friday? Let’s get to it.
What you’ll need…
MIX:
– 3 oz tequila
– 2 oz triple sec
– 1 oz fresh lime juice
GARNISH:
– Slices of lime
– Sugar cubes
– Salt
– 151 Rum
– Dash of agave syrup optional if you like it extra sweet –
What you’ll do…
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and go to town mixing.
- Pour delicious lime mixture into your shot glasses.
- Top shot glasses with sliced lime wheels.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Add sugar cubes.
- Douse with 151 rum and grab your lighter!
- Let the sugar cube caramelize then drop it into your drink and enjoy!
